Employees may qualify for benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, PTO and a generous 401k plan!Essential Functions and Responsibilities: (including but not limited toMaintain accurate tissue and slide records in electronic medical record.Collect, process and store patient samples as per protocol and safety guidelines.Facilitate and coordinate the transfer of blocks and slides.Clean and maintain instruments and work areas.Comply with established laboratory policies to ensure employee safety.Coordinate send outs.Accession specimens.Order supplies/filing.Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.1 year lab experience preferred.High school graduate with a minimum of 1 year training under a Registered Histology Technician considered.Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work as a team member.Strong computer skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills."Iowa Dermatology Clinic is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
