difference in the lives of families. As a Labor & Delivery nurse,
you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to mothers
and their newborns, ensuring a safe and supportive environment
during labor and delivery. Provide comprehensive care to mothers
and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
Administer medications, including magnesium, insulin, and pitocin
drips Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring the highest
standards of care Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to
deliver personalized care plans Float across all campuses as
needed, including Iowa Methodist MC and Iowa Lutheran Requirements:
Need 2 years experience in setting Experience in
Postpartum/mother-baby care and Labor & Delivery required C-section
and vaginal delivery experience, including triage, required Must
have completed at least one travel assignment in the previous 12
months Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate license
required AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS
BLS certification required AHA/American Heart Association ACLS
certification required NRP certification required AWHONN
