ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU -
Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Des Moines,
Iowa. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric
Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 -
Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days -
Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PICU Job Details: •
12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week • Every 3rd
weekend/holiday rotation when scheduled • Must be willing to float
to NICU and ED patient holds as needed • When floating to NICU,
will care for "feeders and growers" - babies on oxygen or
antibiotics, not the sickest patients • 24 months minimum of
PICU/Pediatric Intensive Care experience required • EPIC EMR
experience required • Required certifications: PALS (AHA), BLS
(AHA), ACLS (AHA) • Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate
license required • Care for critically-ill or injured infants,
children and teens • Work in 12-bed, all private-room facility with
state-of-the-art equipment • Skills checklist specific to
PICU/Pediatric Intensive Care required • Professional reference
from charge/supervisor/nurse manager within 24 months preferred
