Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity Shift Information Shift: 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM (2 PM - 12 AM) Schedule: 40 hours per week Call: One weeknight every other week and one weekend (Friday/Saturday) every 10th weekend Position Overview The role involves providing high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services in a clinical setting. The candidate will work with various patient types, including emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient cases. Unit Information - Equipment: Siemens and GE MRI systems - Patient Types: Emergency Department, Inpatient, Outpatient - Common Procedures: Power injection contrast injections - Scrubs: Charcoal Gray Professional Qualifications - Minimum of 24 months of MRI experience - Strong proficiency with Siemens and GE MRI equipment - ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) is required - Previous travel experience is preferred - Familiarity with EPIC Radiant is required Location Travel may be required across multiple campuses located in Iowa, specifically in the following cities: - Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines, IA - Iowa Lutheran, Des Moines, IA Additional Information Work history must demonstrate 24 months of current experience in MRI. A professional reference from a charge supervisor, nurse manager, or higher authority within the last 24 months is preferred. A valid driver's license is also required.
