We want to make a powerful and positive difference in the world!Position SummaryThe Sales Development Representative generates new sales opportunities through cold calls, emails, social media and community networking. Your success will be measured by your effective handoff of qualified leads to the sales team and compensated on closed business. You will creatively leverage your strong organizational and follow-up skills, can-do attitude, and outstanding sales ingenuity.Our ideal candidate has stellar integrity, proven success building a pipeline of business, and experience navigating organizations in order to reach the decision makers. They also have a hunter-mentality and love the thrill of reeling in prospects.Role and ResponsibilitiesProspectingSource new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls and emailsDrive conversion of suspect to prospect through account research, identifying key players and generating interest in Embark solutionsRoute qualified prospects to appropriate Account Executive with validated account informationDevelop sales team relationships and processes to ensure efficient lead passing and timely follow up to develop prospectsProduce high level of call activity daily (80 calls/day)Achieve or exceed goal for qualified meetings on a monthly basisEffectively Supporting Marketing InitiativesRe-qualify incoming leads from trade shows, events, Web and other sales/marketing activitiesCollaborate with AEs to source valuable account informationPartner with AEs to build targeted strategic campaignsDemonstrate Technical, Product & Industry ExpertiseProficient in our CRM, ConnectWiseDedicated to data quality and meticulous capture of key sales informationDevoted to continuous learning of the IT industry - trends, competitors, marketRemain up-to-date and agile in answering basic questions about our product and service offeringsQualifications and Education RequirementsStrong verbal skills, adept in conversing in English with easeAn A player that desires to be around other A playersCold-calling experience, at ease on the phone and able to engage diverse personalitiesHighly dependable and self-starterCrazy organized, positive, optimistic and coachableStrong writing skills, proficient in Microsoft OfficeHigh stamina, with ability to look past short-term roadblocks and stay motivated for long-term winPassionate about technology, business, humankind and winningPreferred SkillsExperience in CRM/Preferably ConnectWiseExperience in Microsoft Excel and ZoomInfoBachelor's degree preferred but not requiredPerks and BenefitsPaid Holidays and PTOIRA Matching ProgramEmployer sponsored Medical and DentalFun Team OutingsSuper Awesome coworkers and caring work environmentAdditional NotesEmbark is an equal opportunity employer.
