Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the companys financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the companys shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.

Enterprise Finance brings together enterprise functions that drive Wells Fargos financial management, corporate development, corporate properties and security, and corporate strategy. Enterprise Cost Allocation and Analytics

The Enterprise Cost Allocation and Analytics team is a Finance center of excellence that is responsible for governing and processing of all cost allocations that occur across the Enterprise solving for all financial reporting dimensions (management reporting, legal entity, transfer pricing, etc.). This includes developing cost standards, maintaining a cost system of record and developing tools and techniques to enable improved financial performance of Wells Fargo supporting both internal service providers and receivers.

The Role: Legal Entity Relationship Control Specialist

The Legal Entity Relationship Control team within the Enterprise Cost Allocation and Analytics COE is looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented, finance professional to serve as a Legal Entity Cost Allocation Control Specialist. This role will support the following; (1) accuracy and completeness of legal entity to legal entity service relationships, (2) adherence to Regulation W, Transfer Pricing Policy and Resolution & Recovery Planning requirements. This position will have significant interaction with finance, accounting, tax, regulatory compliance, and risk teams while providing a unique opportunity to be involved in a high profile enterprise-wide initiative.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:


  • Becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the costing requirements of RRP specifically related to timing, amount and required documentation of inter-company transactions.
  • Acquiring a strong working knowledge on certain regulations and corporate policies, such as Regulation W, Transfer Pricing and various statutory/regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Acquiring a working knowledge of International Tax and International Regulatory requirements as they pertain to cost sharing/cost allocations.
  • Understanding and communicating issues and new developments and providing guidance on suitable corrective actions
  • Working with Services Governance Office, Enterprise Cost Consultants and Corporate Accounting to maintain alignment of service relationship documentation with service relationship transactions.
  • Working with management, Law Department, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management and other key partners to proactively promote compliance with applicable regulations and policies


    Required Qualifications


    • 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics and reporting; or a BS/BA degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business and 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting




      Desired Qualifications


      • A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting
      • Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment
      • A BS/BA degree or higher in business, finance, or economics
      • Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles: statutory and GAAP

        • Proven self-directed learner with a capacity to learn & excel in new domains/functions.
        • Solid critical thinking and analytical skills with an ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, interrelationships and dependencies in order to craft effective solutions.
        • Strong communication skills with a track record of influencing others at all levels of the organization.
        • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with business partners.
        • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with advanced Excel skills
        • Knowledge and understanding of Essbase Finance tools for client reporting and analysis


          Salary InformationThe salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
