Vander Haag's, Inc. has a great opportunity for an experienced--Diesel Service Technician (Diesel Engine Specialist)--to join our team in--Des Moines, Iowa.----Vander Haag's, Inc. offers:Hourly base pay that reflects your experience in the industry.Eligibility for efficiency bonus in addition to hourly wage (paid monthly).A complete benefits package.Work in a clean, well-lit shop--complete with overhead hoists and shop equipment.At Vander Haag's, Inc., no two days are exactly the same. You get the opportunity to work on a wide range of different heavy duty truck makes and models! General duties include:All types of medium and heavy duty truck repairEngine diagnostics and overhaulsDrivetrainElectricalEngine removal & reinstallationHours:--Day shift hours, four days per week!--Schedule can be set for Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday.--No evenings, weekends, or holidays required!--Compensation:--This position pays an hourly base compensation + overtime. Hourly rate will range from $35.00 - $42.00/hour. Hourly rate is dependent upon experience and qualifications (e.g., ASE Certifications, etc.).--Tools: Vander Haag's offers flexible arrangements to assist you with the purchase of additional tools (if necessary).
