begins with you. About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior
Risk Analytics Consultant who delivers insights and decision
strategies to maximize profits and/or asset growth, mitigate credit
risk, manage operating losses and other risk exposures. Covers jobs
responsible for data integrity, data aggregation, analysis and
interpretation in support of the monitoring and oversight of the
credit portfolio, market risk or capital. In this role, you
will:
- Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives, and
delivering insight and decision strategies within analytics and
reporting, and contribute to large-scale planning related to Risk
Analytics
- Review and analyze moderately complex data aggregation,
forecasting, reporting, and programming models
- Be responsible for process production, data reconciliation, and
model documentation in alignment with policy governance
- Resolve data, production, business modeling, and lead team to
meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid
understanding of risk reporting policies, modeling strategies,
procedures, regulatory requests, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers,
compliance, and technology to resolve modeling, forecasting, and
production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals
- Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff
- Partner with cross enterprise risk analysts in development of
common modeling strategies Required Qualifications, US:
- 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent
demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work
experience, training, military experience, education Desired
Qualifications:
- Scrum Master certification
- Experience moving teams and organizations from Waterfall to
Agile methodologies and Agile Transformations
- Prior successful work leading scrum teams in a matrixed
environment
- Successful hands-on work experience with Agile Scrum (Daily
Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and
Kanban.
- Knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational
awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment,
and increasing transparency
- 3+ years of experience with Agile tools (Atlassian Jira,
AgileOne, Jira Align, etc.) and Confluence
- 4+ years business experience in a matrixed management
environment (e.g. product development, project management,
implementation)
- 3+ years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle
governance, Information Technology application development or
Technology Testing/Validation
- Knowledge and understanding of technology risks related to
business risk
- Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build
successful relationships
- Ability to champion change
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and
work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong ability to problem solve
- Other duties as assigned Job Expectations:
- Serve as a Scrum Master for multiple teams simultaneously (Data
Development and Data Reporting and Validation teams supporting
multiple portfolios. E.g. Card, PL, Business Card, etc.)
- Provide clear and concise guidance to Scrum Teams (including
Product Owners) with who have little or no prior Scrum
experience.
- Motivate teams and lead strategic initiatives, collaborating
across a large organization and multi-tasking as required
- Create, maintain and champion an environment where there is a
high degree of transparency
- Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal
communication skills
- Influence across all organizational levels or functions
- Effectively work on a high diverse team who are geographically
dispersed across multiple time zones located in the US, India and
Philippines.
