Responsibilities
-As the Large Tractor Delivery Architect for John Deere Intelligent
Solutions Group located in Waterloo, IA, you will be responsible to
deliver and apply electronic functional and physical architectures
for tractors to the large tractor group of products. - This
position collaborates with and supports the tractor product line
architect in delivering the architecture to the product development
teams. In addition, you will: -
- Own the delivery of the architecture (functional -and physical)
and architecture variation for electrical system architecture used
on large tractors.?
- Works with mixed electronic systems of new, legacy, and 3rd
party electronic components and is able to recommend architectures
and strategies. Recommends appropriate action to close gaps.
- Provides architecture expertise and collaboration for large
tractors. - Works with product teams to identify architectural
defects and leads resolution of the defects. -
- Verify that the architecture meets the needs of and integrates

this position. - - - -What Skills You Need
-
- 5 or more years of experience in product design focused on
electrical/electronic systems engineering, software design, and/or
architecture.
- 3 or more years of experience focused on complex system design
and/or electrical system architecture
- Good, foundational understanding of engineering principles as
they relate to Deere products.What Makes You Stand Out

- Experience with modeling electrical systems or other complex
systems in a system modeling tool.
- Experience with tractor electrical systems or tractor software
systems or development.
- Experience leading complex electrical system projects including
taking a product to production.
- Advanced degree and/or Systems Design and Management
Certificate from MIT or equivalent.Education
-Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work
experience in the following: -
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Science or Technology
