About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Compensation Consultant to join our newly formed Compensation Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This organization is responsible for producing a holistic reporting approach for all compensation activity, with the goal of providing data and insights that allow for better information for senior leaders, and the broader organization, to manage compensation expense. The team will produce analyses and reporting via monthly/quarterly dashboards, as well as modeling for various ad hoc initiatives.   • Understand compensation data at Wells Fargo and improve access via reporting and tools to efficiently support reporting and ad hoc requests
  • Produce reports and dashboards that provide key compensation information and that highlight areas of opportunity for senior leaders in managing compensation expense
  • Provide world-class executive support for compensation analyses
  • Be able to create value add solutions by listening and anticipating
  • Have a strong analytics mindset, with the ability to consult and strategize with senior leaders
  • Be a compensation data expert, and have the ability to understand extremely complex data sources and systems
  • Understand and support various executive compensation programs and initiatives
  • Have a strong understanding of the financial impact of compensation, and partner with Finance teams to improve information leading to more informed budgeting and forecasting Required Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of Compensation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
    • 3+ years experience utilizing compensation data, tools and systems at a large global organization Desired Qualifications:
      • Ability to understand the current state, think strategically about where to add value and consult on solutions around compensation data, reporting and analyses
      • Ability to navigate extremely large datasets and sources, understand the data and identify and communicate trends to senior leaders
      • Experience building solutions from the ground up that provide company-wide value
      • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
      • Experience in developing compensation strategies and programs (both broad based and executive compensation)
      • Learn, understand, embrace, and action risk and control strategies that support the work of FP&A and the broader enterprise
      • Advanced analytic skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills
      • Ability to influence and build effective partnerships with senior leaders Job Expectations:
        • Willingness to work on-site at one of the locations below. Position will require onsite presence in a hybrid capacity (3 or more days in the office and up to 2 days remotely per week)
