Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the companys financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the companys shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.

The Enterprise Finance Group Business Process Management (BPM) team is seeking an experienced professional to join us in support of the overall BPM effort at Wells Fargo. The Business Support Consultant 3 - Process Definition Group Librarian function is the first point of contact for the Business Group regarding process definition required practices, tool access, taxonomy, and support and information. They also serve as the custodian of the process models and resident expert on the Process Repository and the process definition standards. They also coordinate/manage the process model change control process to ensure that the LOB process models stay current and up-to-date.

Organizationally, the Group Process Definition Librarian reports directly to the Group BPM Capabilities Leader.

High Level Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Local Process Definition Expert and Support (tool, practices and standards) for the aligned business
  • Process Modeling tool functional expert
  • Will understand and become fluent on the process definition standards (modeling, architecture, object relationships)
  • Will understand use of Risk Management module
  • Will understand and become power user of all Enterprise Process Repository Platform modules
  • Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) expert
  • Knowledgeable of Taxonomy alignment
  • Shares lessons learned and best practices with LOB users when appropriate
  • Liaison with Enterprise librarian & other Group Librarians to promote Community of Practice
  • Local Custodian for Process Assets
  • Partner with Enterprise Process Librarian to maintain repository and alignment with enterprise standards
  • Ensure data integrity meets standards established for different object types and associated meta data
  • Introduce new Objects that may be needed for approval by Enterprise BPM (EBPM)
  • Review and rationalize obsolete data within the Enterprise Process Repository
  • Drive remediation of defects for the line of business data
  • Accountable for repository compliance Definition and Enforcement
  • Provide requests to Enterprise Process Engineering for new reports
  • Review and approve requests for configuring Enterprise Process Repository filters, templates and attributes for their LOB and submitting them to Enterprise Librarian team
  • Enterprise Program Alignment
  • Ensure local business Process Definition Strategy is in line with overall Enterprise Process Definition Strategy
  • Speak and provide requirements on behalf of LOB to EPE as related to Business Process Management
  • Provide input for staffing levels in the Librarian role for a specific business unit based on the process inventory quantity and growing BPM needs
  • Help support the execution of the Enterprise Process Definition Delivery Process
  • Become fluent on Process Definition Onboarding
  • Perform Stakeholder mapping
  • Identify the list of macro and micro services to be engaged to on-board line of business to the Enterprise Process Repository
  • Identify Enterprise Process Repository requirements
  • Enterprise Process Repository User Access
  • Will oversee access requests and ensure the appropriate resources are provided the correct access profile according to the security model
  • Understand role based security models and align to business needs
  • Assist with collection of Access Management needs
  • Work with EBPM to provide access to the users within the respective LOB folder area
  • Incubation and Innovation
  • Provide enhancement ideas and requirements to EBPM for needed BPM functionality
  • Participate in business case proposals for new Enterprise Process Repository or BPM functionality
  • Participate in Proof of Concepts (POC) for Enterprise Process Repository solutions
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed

    • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: administrative support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning demonstrated through work or military experience

      • A BS/BA degree or higher

      • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
      • Advanced facilitation skills
      • Knowledge and understanding of Tableau
      • iGrafx, ProVision or other enterprise process modeling experience
      • Financial services industry experience
      • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
      • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
      • Technical and business architecture experience
      • Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills
      • Six Sigma Black Belt certification
      • Knowledge and understanding of APQC s Process Classification Framework (PCF)
      • Knowledge and understanding of Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) methodology and modeling
      • 1+ year of JIRA experience
      • Knowledge and understanding of Agile
      • Relational database experience
      • Ability to gather business requirements and create technical solutions
      • Ability to manage initiatives involving process improvements
      • SharePoint experience
      • IT Infrastructure Library Certification (ITIL)
      • Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using TSQL or similar querying methods
      • Knowledge and understanding of relational databases: SQL
      • Strong conflict resolution skills
      • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
      • Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
