The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk.The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.We are seeking a Conduct Risk Lead Consultant to join Complaints Oversight's Program Execution team. The Program Execution team is accountable for a broad range of activities, including:

  • timely and accurate execution of consent order commitments
  • development and execution of meaningful reporting and analytical routines that support Complaints Oversight's monitoring and oversight activities and support the complaints data and analytical needs of other risk types across Corporate Risk (e.g., compliance risk, operational risk, reputation risk)
  • supporting operational activities including, Complaints Oversight procedure development and governance, monitoring of timely and accurate execution of oversight procedures, new business initiatives committee monitoring, business process management, exam and audit coordination, issue management, and records retention.The Conduct Risk Lead Consultant will be responsible for the following activities:
    • own and serve as subject matter expert of the Complaints Taxonomy and Third Party Service Provider Complaints Taxonomy - these documents establish the minimum data requirements needed to support oversight of front line complaint handling
    • develop and implement a change management process to ensure taxonomy requests are tracked and dispositioned.
    • serve as subject matter expert of the Complaint Reporting Methodology, which defines enterprise metrics for the complaints program; evaluate and approve changes proposed by the front line
    • establish and maintain alignment of the Complaints Taxonomy and TPSP taxonomy to foundational risk management components including process hierarchy, product hierarchy, legal entity hierarchy, etc.
    • implement a governance process for maintaining and establishing complaint Risk Appetite and Key Indicator metrics across risk types
      • evaluate future metrics
      • maintain metric boundaries
      • accountable for delivering response to any boundary triggers
      • identify, develop, and implement broader Complaints Oversight Reporting governance, processes, and routines as they emerge
      • coordinate complaints related projects with technology and Front Line (e.g., MicroStrategy replacement)
      • establish and maintain tools for the overall CO Reporting function

        Required Qualifications
        • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: conduct risk, compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk); or 8+ years of business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 4+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both

            • 3+ years of experience with change control processes and governance
            • 5+ Years Strategy Consulting
            • Experience working for a major consulting organization
            • Understanding of the Risk Management Framework
