About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Consumer Cards
Communication Specialist to join the Business Planning and Consumer
Insights team, as part of the Cards & Merchant Services (CMS)
organization within the Consumer Lending group. This role will
support internal and external communication needs of the Consumer
Cards and Marketing team. Learn more about the career areas and
business divisions at . In this role, you will:
- Work independently to develop, test, and execute digital and
in-person communications strategies within and across teams
- Source and curate relevant content for the audience and
tactic
- Work closely with senior leaders, both internally and
externally, to coordinate events, newsletters, and team
updates
- Develop and lead initiatives to promote positive work culture,
including employee recognition
- Develop and maintain calendar for management, and execution of
all Cards business unit events and routines, both ongoing and
ad-hoc
- Maintain library of team communications and documents
- Serve as subject matter expert on internal communications tools
and capabilities
- Lead or execute communication based initiatives and
activities
- Implement communications strategies to promote and protect
Wells Fargo's reputation
- Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with
intended outcomes and business objectives
- Partner with other Communications teams to ensure alignment of
communications strategies and messaging Required Qualifications,
US:
- 4+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate
Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one
or a combination of the following: work experience, training,
military experience, education Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of financial service industry experience preferably in
credit card
- Experience writing and editing internal communications and
external materials in a corporate environment or financial
institution
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate
complex material to a diverse audience
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge and understanding of corporate communication tools
and practices
- Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet
changing business needs
- Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix
environment and build effective business partnerships with all
levels of team members
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal
supervision
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet
deadlines
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing
skills
