Job Description:
As an Enterprise Applications Engineer I, you will be a
technical resource to help deliver, administer and support StoneX's
centrally managed 3rd -party platforms under the mandate and vision
of the Enterprise Tools team. The Application Engineer I is an
active participant in continuous improvement initiatives that
promote efficiency and performance such as cost savings, process
optimization, and quality improvements. Success criteria include
engineering application and design experience, technical skills,
broad engineering knowledge, sound engineering and business
judgment, strong communication skills, initiative and innovation,
and the ability to simultaneously track multiple projects.
- Maintain the overall design of the O365 messaging solution
(Exchange Online) and ensure email technologies meet business
requirements and are designed and implemented effectively.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of best practices and
enhancements in O365, closely matching technology solutions to the
business needs of the company.
- Implementation and documentation of compliance, governance, and
management policies adopted by the company within the Microsoft
O365 tenant.
- Maintain administrative compliance, governance, and management
policies over the organization's O365 tenants serving as the tier
II escalation to troubleshoot and resolve both technical and
end-user incidents.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to recommend O365
solutions, develop strategy and implement and architect as
needed.
- Maintain high availability with our hybrid Exchange
environments.
- Advance messaging capabilities and services such as Exchange
Online, Teams, Intune, and Proofpoint.
- Administration for SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Maintain administrative compliance, governance, and management
over the organization's compliance recording solution to meet the
requirements of StoneX.
- Maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures,
and knowledge base articles for the support of each system. Support
the development of training materials.
- Develop and document processes as needed to establish
consistent use of the O365 tenants.
- Strong technical problem solver who can solve issues within
Microsoft Office 365 production and non-production tenant.
- Implement system security requirements defined by Information
Security department.
- Create PowerShell scripts for administration of Exchange,
Office 365, custom software implementations, and advanced
troubleshooting.
- Resolve issues with other 3rd -party enterprise platforms as
necessary.
- Assist with architecting, configuring, and supporting other
business applications as necessary.
- Complete service requests in the agreed SLA timeframe.
- Previous administering Exchange On-Prem or Exchange
Online.
- Previous administering at least 1 Microsoft O365 product.
- Previous knowledge supporting packaged software, and/or
application suites.
- Experience with Intune design or implementation and support for
other mobile device management solutions is nice to have.
- Knowledge and use of Windows PowerShell.
- Beginner experience to troubleshoot mail message delivery
through message tracing and other troubleshooting tolls.
- Excellent verbal, written and relationship skills used to
interact with a global group of technical and non-technical
people.
- Work closely with other IT teams including Information
Security, Application Development, IT Support and 3rd party vendors
to plan, deploy, and maintain a highly-performant environment.
- Logical thought process when architecting technical solutions
for customers.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and in a
team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, work under a small or
large team spanning across multiple business unit/practice
areas.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic ever-changing
environment.
- Ability to work with a team to provide guidance and direction
on leveraging O365 through the business.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and work them through to the
root
- Ability to lead tasks and prepare a variety of technical and
user-oriented reports or manuals.
- Strong customer service and orientation in execution.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.
- Work for an extended time at keyboard/terminal. Hiring Salary
Range $70,000-$90,000 (Salary to be determined by the education,
experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant,
internal equity and alignment with market data.) Subject to
business performance and recommendations of management, this role
may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
