What you can expect as the Internal Wholesaler:Responsible for North American (NA) Company annuity sales and by contacting distribution partners/marketers and/or agents either by phone or email to promote products and Company to maximize sales productivity. Respond to distribution partners/marketer and/or agent requests regarding ongoing marketing support such as product training, staff training, agent training, marketing campaigns for North American and ongoing incentives. Work with new distribution partners to ensure appropriate training and communication regarding company policies and procedures are effectively incorporated for the organization to promote and market North American annuities.Support regional SVP?s, our distribution partners and/or agents in developing, growing and driving sales for the company.Make proactive outbound calls to distribution partners/marketers and/or agents regarding product education, increasing product awareness, and sales concepts.Achieve weekly call goals, log calls daily and provide any pertinent information for goal tracking.Proactively make outbound calls in an effort to get new agents into production.Respond to inbound calls as referred by Sales Support by providing support on products, marketing and sales materials, sales concepts, product education and advanced illustration support.Cultivate and build strong rapport with agents and/or distribution partners to enhance their relationship with North American in an effort to meet the company?s production goals.Create and present Webinars in order to educate distribution partner?s marketers and/or agents on our product benefits and features, how best to position our products and current sales ideas and concepts.Provide high level of knowledge and take escalated or detailed case design calls when referred by the sales support team.Actively participate in sales and marketing initiatives or other projects, as assigned.Occasional travel for IMO and/or agent meetingsDeliver presentations to educate agents, MGAs (including marketers) by becoming knowledgeable about the products, sales materials, support services, and sales practices.Ensure necessary communications on new policies, procedures, products, rates, etc. are effectively communicated to distribution partners, marketers and/or respective agents.Ensure service issues are forwarded and resolved timely through appropriate department.Keep management informed of any noticeable trends.Maintain a positive image of the company.Commitment to embrace Sammons Financial Group Companies shared values (Respect, Accountability, Integrity, and Openness)As stated within the Company Attendance and Punctuality policy, regular attendance is required and expected in order to meet the business service levels and workflow demands.What we are looking for:Bachelor's Degree preferred2-5 years relevant work experience preferredBackground in life insurance/annuity sales and/or marketing preferredBackground in life insurance/annuity sales and/or marketing preferredSeries License-63 preferredSeries License-6 preferredEffective problem solving skillsProven ability to build strong relationships (internally & externally)Effective written, oral and presentation skillsThorough knowledge of sales and marketing principles and practicesDemonstrate exceptional working knowledge of annuity productsEffective organizational, time management skillsCriminal background check required.Due to the financial nature and level of accountability of this position, a credit and criminal background check is required - The Fair Credit Reporting Act requires Sammons Financial Group Companies to notify you that, as a routine part of processing this application for employment, Sammons Financial Group may request a consumer report on you to verify all information contained in this application.
