seeking a Lead Security DevOps Engineer in technology as part of
the Advanced Research Engineering (ARE) Team within the Cyber
Threat Management Group (CTMG) to be part of a dedicated team of
developers, researchers, and cyber threat team members who respond
rapidly to cyber threats and then create the necessary responses.
This Lead Engineer will be experienced in system and application
support and management, and solution development in complex,
high-availability and dynamic configurations.**In this role, you
will:**+ Lead computer security incident response activities for
highly complex events+ Conduct technical investigation of security
related incidents and post-incident digital forensics to identify
causes and recommend future mitigation strategies+ Provide security
consulting on large projects for internal clients to ensure
conformity with corporate information, security policy, and
standards+ Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue
resolution recommendations for highly complex security solutions
related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and
directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint
security+ Review and correlate security logs+ Utilize subject
matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best
practices to implement one or more components of information
security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk
management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident
response, access management, and business continuity+ Identify
security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and
evaluate remediation alternatives+ Collaborate and influence all
levels of professionals including managers+ Lead a team to achieve
objectives**Required Qualifications:**+ 5+ years of Information
Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through
one or a combination of the following: work experience, training,
military experience, education+ 3+ years of Unix or Linux
administration experience+ 2+ years of experience with development
and database technologies such as NodeJS, Meteor, Mongo or other
language/databases in a support capacity+ 2+ years working with
configuration and monitoring technologies such Ansible, Telegraf,
Grafana**Desired Qualifications:**+ 1+ years NoSQL database
experience such as MongoDB, Elastic, or InfluxDB+ 1+ years of Agile
experience+ Experience deploying applications on HashiCorp product
stack such as Consul, Nomad, Vault, Terraform, or Packer+
Experience working closely with a development team and application
support team in a DevOps model+ Advanced information security
technical skills and understanding of information security
practices and policies+ Knowledge and understanding of security
configuration management including linking security policy with
security configuration+ Knowledge and understanding of network
security and network protocols+ Knowledge and understanding of
vulnerability identification and remediation+ System vulnerability
detection and mitigation experience+ Knowledge and understanding of
technology production support: fast paced dynamic customer facing
application which requires high availability+ Knowledge and
understanding of investigating and implementing fixes for security
vulnerabilities and other application maintenance activities+
Experience with constant research into new technologies that could
benefit the support and development teams+ Experience with
innovation, problem solving and self-driven solution
