- Hands-on experience with all tasks involved in managing a help
desk
- Opportunity to practice and teach customer service, technology,
and effective communication to fellow team members
- Learn from and work with other professionals and subject matter
experts in a wide variety of technologies

- Work in an in-person environment in West Des
MoinesResponsibilities
- Run the IT Service Desk, including staff supervision, hiring,
asset management, deployment and associated projects
- Own the task of receiving and responding to IT queries
promptly
- Manage escalations, outages and critical issues, including some
after-hours responses as needed
- Assist team members (employees) when required, with technical
issues; document incidents for future reference
- Collaborate with internal partners to implement new projects,
technologies and initiatives to improve efficiency
- Prepare periodic reports for management with recommendations
and trendsRequirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- 2 years team management/leadership experience
- Practical experience with ticket management systems (e.g.
Freshdesk, Zendesk, ServiceNow, ServiceDesk +)
- Understanding of process management and process improvement
methodologies
- Demonstrated success developing team members
- Degree of technical knowledge to assist when needed in ticket
queue and problem resolution
- Experience with an Active Directory / Azure environment
preferred
- Demonstrable skills troubleshooting a wide range of technical
problems
- Strong organizational skills with eye for detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsLifespace has
