GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Quality Assurance Analyst II plans and conducts a wide range
of quality control tests and analysis to ensure all application
products and services meet organizational standards and end-user
requirements. This includes performing test planning, test design
and test execution. In addition to QA responsibilities, the Analyst
also executes various administration and support items.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Provides weekly status reports of ongoing and future
+ Completes assigned tasks in JIRA.
+ Review and approve project plans for assigned projects
+ Takes on projects requiring more complex knowledge and
experience including basic test script writing.
+ Analyzes and reviews requirements and technical work
+ Defines test plan and results and documents them in qTest.
+ Designs test scenarios, scripts and data and executes manual
or automated scripts.
+ Validates test results and records and researches defects.
+ Prioritizes, defines and manages defect reporting and
+ Manages defect reporting and resolution.
+ Coordinates and plans test.
+ Able to handle testing projects with minimal supervision
+ Leads test planning efforts on assigned team
+ Utilizes qTest and qTest eXplorer to create tests, execute
them and log defects
+ Assists user departments with medium level problems and
questions related to assigned projects
+ May assist with other QA department responsibilities
+ Will assist with resolution/retesting of production issue

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance or related field of
study; plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or
equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
+ Insurance Industry experience working with annuity principles
and products along with related federal and state laws.
+ Annuity knowledge is preferred
+ Experience in a service department is an added plus!
+ Some testing experience - user acceptance and/or Q/A
