Credit Investigator Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Credit Investigator for a Contract opportunity with a financial services client. Job Requirements:Responsibilities: * Serve as a liaison between the client, consumer and the company by resolving customer's requests * Complete investigations, and issue updated or corrected information * Analyze source data to ensure compliance with customer specifications and office policies and procedures * Interview customers and borrowers, and call creditors and landlords when necessary * Research and provide updates for duplications, outdated information and disputed items * Interpret credit report data Qualifications:* Minimum 2 year college degree or equivalent work experience highly preferred* Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills with a focus on quality* Self-starter who can work within a team environment as well as work independently with little direction supervision* Ability to exercise some independent judgement* Ability to use prescribed methods to obtain current information* Capacity to set standards and rely on instructions to perform the job functions* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)* Detail oriented/analytical approach to work with a meticulous nature for tracking and documentingFor immediate consideration, please click "Apply"--and use Job Code BHJOB11837_1945.
