The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Marketing and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Our guiding principles are to start with the customer, move faster, and partner effectively. The Business Support Consultant 3 is responsible for handling the most complex issues within quality assurance. - Assesses internal and external issues to ensure activities follow the necessary regulatory and risk management practices. - Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. - Serves as a consultant to management on matters relative to risk management, policies, and procedures. - Analyzes testing results, identifies trends of findings, and proposes recommendations for change to impact future quality, test development, and reporting on results. - May be a decision maker for exceptions to guidelines. This Business Support Consultant roles are part of the Operations Business Excellence & Support (OBX) team. These Consultants will play a key role in working with the Self Assurance team, managing and implementing self assurance activities within PVSI Operations. The Consultants will partner to implement standards, policies, and/or procedures to provide guidance on noted deficiencies, and will provide feedback on any gaps or inconsistencies within the process, as well as suggesting improvements. Additionally, the Consultants will provide feedback to team members on best practices, needed enhancements, and procedure enhancements. Additional Consultant responsibilities may include the facilitation of large projects with several deliverables due during the same time frame. Due to the centralization of Quality Assurance, a large migration will be migrating to one testing platform for over 600 tests. The Consultants will also lead council calls and serve as a point of contact with various activities tied to the Self Assurance policy requirements. The Consultants will retain documentation to support exam management activities and any other initiatives as needed, and may be the subject matter expert around identifying and communicating issues identified as well as validating any remediation. Additionally, these Consultants may participate in the Business Process Management (BPM) reviews to identifygaps or missing Self Assurance Activities (SAA) within Operations Inventory. Responsibilities may include planning all logistics to conduct virtual or in person reviews, coordinating with process owners and control leaders to gather or create required documents, facilitating end to end process reviews, and conducting follow-up activities to ensure all actions are completed on time. These Consultants will partner closely with Control leaders across Operations as well as Operational Risk Management and Compliance to ensure a holistic review and approach is maintained to ensure all processes that have key controls are identified and are current. Preference for role to be located in the posted locations; however, consideration may be given to locations within the designated Wells Fargo footprint.
