Responsible for managing a team responsible for identifying, formulating and implementing complex information security policies, procedures and controls. Works with and influences information security and line of business management to identify, formulate and implement information security solutions and controls. Team may be responsible for complex and innovative solutions addressing: vulnerability detection, threat analysis, network intrusion and development/implementation of vulnerability mitigation strategies; identifying security risks and solutions for the company's networks and virtual private networks, application systems, security tools, key public infrastructures, authentication and directory services, and access management services to ensure the security of the network and confidential data. Maintains an advanced awareness of bank security policies and government regulations pertaining to information security and participates in recommending changes to information security policy, standards and procedures as needed for systems/applications/tools. Exercises the usual authority of a manager including budgeting and staff management. - Information Security Manager for network visibility and proxy channel technologies (web isolation and anti-virus). - 24x7 operational support. - Develop new solutions both on-prem and cloud-based (SaaS) - Oversee and ensure successful configuration changes, h/w refresh, s/w upgrades, patching, vulnerability management, scanning, logging, capacity management, inventory management, and overall technology management for existing and net new solutions. - Vendor manager responsibilities including developing and maintaining vendor relationships, tracks technical issues, drives out solutions, and supports contract amendments, renewals, and escalates product and support issues. - Maintain very close partnership with key financial resources within Information and Cyber Security (ICS). - Create, maintain, and manage on-call schedules. - Influence technology selection by gathering and reviewing customer information, working with technology teams to determine if standard solution will work or if custom solution is necessary, and recommending the best option to the customer, including providing guidance on leveraging new technology. - Monitor higher profile projects to ensure requests are met on time and within sizing, keeping all parties informed of impacts and changes. - Keep abreast of competitive market environment for innovative business products and services, regulatory/compliance issues, and implications of new implementations. - Partner with development team to automate manual processes. - Provide senior-level management of programs, services and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity and risk. - Partner with executive management to review strategic direction, direct outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with WF strategy/policies and business line objectives. - Analyze complex data, create, recommend, implement, and monitor complex technology solutions. - Serve as an escalation point and provide guidance during production issues that may include direct involvement on evening and weekends to assist team(s) with incident response. - Self-identify audit issues and provide resolution recommendations. Required Qualifications - 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: information security, IT systems security or technology experience that includes 2+ years direct experience in information security - 2+ years of leadership experience in an Information Security or IT environment - 2+ years of leadership or management experience including working with Information Security teams or projects - 1+ years of infrastructure experience - 3 + years of experience troubleshooting environments across the entire architecture (i.e. applications to infrastructure) - 2+ years of experience interviewing and making hiring recommendations Desired Qualifications - Experience managing a technology infrastructure function, application or information security function that has impact across multiple lines of business - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills - Ability to effectively influence and interact with all levels of an organization - A Masters of Business Administration (MBA) - 2+ years of financial industry experience - Splunk experience Other Desired Qualifications - Ability to identity manual processes that are good candidates for automation.
