The Innovation Team is seeking a talented Application System Engineer 5 to help support their application and research activities. This position will be part of a team of engineers that support research and technology evaluation initiatives across Wells Fargo Bank, company wide. Responsibilities Include: Provides technical consultation and support in Research and Development initiatives focused on delivering emerging technologies across a broad spectrum of technical domains. Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design technology solutions. Develops original and/or complex code and provides coding guidance to less experienced staff. Leads and/or performs modeling, simulations and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Participates in overall systems/research testing. Maintain and manage the continuous integration and continuous deployment tools and processes. Conduct POCs and build solutions on new technologies, with emphasis on architecture. Assures quality, security, risk and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of business continuation plans.
