What You'll Do : As a Claims Project Consultant you will develop and implement claim projects. You will also: • Respond to and resolve customer service requests according to Farm Bureau Financial Services, policies in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner for external customers, departmental staff, and other personnel at all times. • Investigate, evaluate, propose and implement new initiatives for containing claim costs and expenses while improving the speed and quality of customer service. • Review existing data, qualitative information and research to gauge applicability to existing data design needs. • Lead efforts to draft requirements for new and existing data uses. • Interprets and quantifies results by building database queries to synthesize data, applying the appropriate statistical tests. • Develop and manage high risk, highly complex business projects and budget and implement solutions. • Work with Claims Administration Director to identify business problems. What It Takes to Lead Our Team: • College degree or equivalent plus seven years relevant experience required. • Five years management experience preferred. • AIC or SCLA and IIA designations required or obtained within one year. • Keep current with new claim technologies.
