We are committed to providing compassionate care for Iowans through all of life's health transitions.:PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:Responsible for the data input of the payroll system and filing payroll source documents. Serves as a backup for accounts payable duties.QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older High school graduate Education/Certification/License Associates Degree or equivalent payroll experience Experience Data entry experience preferred Accounts payable and general ledger experience preferredESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Demonstrates and models Care Initiatives Core Values in all interactions, activities and opportunities. Inputs and sets up hires for all locations into the payroll computer system. Operates payroll computer system to ensure that tasks are processed in accordance with a schedule of operations. Verifies input by contacting location office managers when questions arise. Inputs various payroll adjustments approved by the Payroll/Accounts Payable Manager or Director of Finance. Keeps track of source documents and maintains files in accordance with established procedures. Reports any problems with the payroll system to the Payroll/Accounts Payable Manager or Director of Finance. Verifies social security numbers for all hires. Enters and submits COBRA data weekly. Codes and enters all therapy and federal express invoices and tracks therapy hours. Perform other duties, projects, and tasks as assigned.EOE / AAP Veterans and Disabled
