Urology opening in West Des Moines, Iowa. This and other physician jobs brought to you by DocCafe.com A hospital is seeking a urologist who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately three months starting in mid-March, with chance of extension. On a typical day, the provider should expect to see about 25 patients per day, ages range from pediatric to adult, with some trauma. Required experience includes, general urology, endoscopic techniques, ureteroscopy, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy. Preferred skills: laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, radical cystectomy, prostatectomy, nephrectomy; robotic surgery, partial nephrectomies/intraoperative ultrasound, adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound (w/biopsy), TRUS biopsies, fertility work up, and incontinence procedures. The provider will work a Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm time schedule as well as on call. This facility uses Allscripts EMR.
