MercyOne is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine Physician to join its Hospitalist service as a Nocturnist at the suburban MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center . We offer a base salary with incentives, including a $50,000 sign-on bonus, paid malpractice and a 403B Match. Opportunity Details 7/7 Schedule (flexible options available) Comfort w/procedures preferred but not required ICU coverage w/ Pulmonary Critical Care consultation High acuity ICU patients transferred to MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center Admissions average 8 per 12 hr shift with APP support until midnight Telehealth may be added at a future date The level 4 Trauma Center MercyOne West Des Moines is licensed for 146 beds and staffed at 101 beds. Our 24/7 14bed ED had over 20,000 visitors last year. We have an 8 bed ICU, 5 NICU beds and 15 Obstetrics beds. This facility boasts over 600 births and nearly 4400 admissions over the past year. We function as a community medical center placed squarely in the suburb of West Des Moines focusing on general medical surgical, OB, orthopedics and bariatrics.
