travel nurse RN Long Term Care for a travel nursing job in Des
Moines, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Long Term
Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week -
Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title:
Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care (LTC) Start Date: ASAP /
Urgent Need Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and
dependable Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long Term Care (LTC)
facility. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to residents,
ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. The ideal
candidate is experienced in geriatric care, medication management,
and supervising support staff in a long-term care setting. Key
Responsibilities: - Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed - Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in
condition - Develop, implement, and update individualized care
plans - Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs - Respond
promptly to resident needs and emergencies - Maintain accurate and
timely documentation - Communicate effectively with physicians,
families, and interdisciplinary team members - Ensure compliance
with facility policies and state/federal regulations Required
Qualifications: - Active RN license (state-specific or compact
license if applicable) - LTC or skilled nursing experience
preferred - Current BLS certification - Strong clinical judgment
and assessment skills - Ability to manage multiple residents in a
fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and leadership
skills Schedule & Compensation: - Day, evening, and night shifts
available - Weekend rotation may be required - Competitive pay
