Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Waterloo, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Tele /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour shifts with every other weekend including holiday rotation /n• 16 hours guaranteed per week /n• Patient ratio of 1:6 on a 130-bed unit /n• May float to behavioral health, emergency department, ICU, and post-procedural areas /n• Manage telemetry monitoring and read rhythm strips and dysrhythmias /n• Administer drips including heparin, insulin, lasix, amiodarone, diltiazem, and digoxin /n• Must complete Basic Dysrhythmia Assessment with passing score of 80% during onboarding /n• Work with EPIC EMR system /n• 24 months of Med Surg, Tele, or Med/Tele experience required /n• First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of nursing experience /n• Must be comfortable and confident reading EKG/ECG and performing telemetry duties /n• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS, Iowa nursing license /n• Highly preferred: De-Escalation Certificate (SAMA, MAB, MOAB, CPI) and NIH Stroke Scale certificate /n• Must live minimum 50 miles from facility location /n• Holiday pay at 1.15x multiplier /n• Call back at 1.5x multiplier with 2-hour minimum /n• On-call rate of $9/hour /n• Charge/preceptor differential of $6/hour /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a 130-bed medical surgical telemetry unit providing comprehensive inpatient care.
