Job Description Job Description Clinic RN FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Reports to: Clinic Supervisor Job Summary/Objective: The Clinc RN provides primary care nursing, patient education, health care maintenance, patient counseling, and normative care services to patients at Peoples Community Health Clinic. Works with providers and administers nursing care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission of Peoples Community Health Clinic. Clinic LPN FLSA Classification: Non-exempt Reports to: Clinic Supervisor Job Summary/Objective: Provides primary care nursing, patient education, health care maintenance, patient counseling, and normative care services to patients at Peoples Community Health Clinic. Works with providers and administers nursing care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Assists with the planning, development and implementation of health education programs and materials, and provides assistance to and supervision of the Patient Clinical Representatives in areas of nursing beyond their scope of practice. Performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission of Peoples Community Health Clinic. Protected Health Information Requirements/Access: This position will require the use or disclosure of protected health Information. This position will use the Treatment class of protected health information. Restrictions on the protected health information for this position will follow the Privacy Policies of Peoples Community Health Clinic, Inc. Use or disclosure of protected health information not routinely available to this position will follow procedures assessed by or directed by management. Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Completion of Accredited Nursing Program required. Licensure and Certificates: Current Iowa Nursing Licensure required Current BLS or CPR/First Aid certification Mandatory reporter training for child and dependent adult abuse certificate
