Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Des Moines, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiation Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist /n/n Job Details: /n • Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team contributing professional nursing knowledge and skills /n• Provide and manage care to patients through application of the nursing process /n• 16 hours guaranteed per week /n• Work with approximately 80 patients per day /n• Provide various types of treatment including SRS, SRT, SBRT, VMAT, 3D, Electrons, HyperArc (no total skin or total body) /n• Work with equipment including TrueBeam, Halcyon, TrueBeam Edge /n• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving) /n• Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 /n• Black scrubs required /n• Must have Iowa State Radiation Oncology license /n• Minimum 24 months of recent/current radiation therapy experience required /n• Travel experience highly preferred /n• EPIC experience required /n• ARIA/Eclipse experience highly preferred /n• Equipment experience with TrueBeam, Halcyon, TrueBeam Edge highly preferred /n• ARRT certificate with "T - radiation therapy" discipline required /n• AHA BLS certification required /n• Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director within 24 months preferred /n• Valid driver's license required /n/n Facility: /n This comprehensive cancer center specializes in advanced radiation therapy treatments and is part of a larger healthcare system.
