Medical Center in Waterloo, IA in need of Neonatologist! Level III Trauma Center, Level III Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit We are an integrated NICU. Infants remain in LDRP with family. If unstable, the neonate can be placed in a separate room or in our NICU proper. Schedule: Start: ASAP (Pending Credentialing) with ongoing need Patient Contact Hours: 8 Shifts per Month: Up to 16 Shift Length: 24hr On Call: 24H call Job Requirements: Inpatient Responsibilities: Yes, at facility Outreach: No Telehealth: No Number of Physicians: 2 Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 0 Supervision of APPs expected: No Medical Imaging: Yes Lab & Pharmacy: Yes Patient Demographics: Neonates with gestational ages of 28 weeks. Less than 28 weeks is typically stabilized and transferred to a higher level of care. Clinic Provider Daily Volume: Varies based on NICU census Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 6.3 Services offered in the practice: 10 bed Level III NICU with an ADC of 6.3. Capacity to increase to 12 NICU infants for short period of time. EMR: Epic Physician Requirements: Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Active IA License or Active IMLC (Must provide LOQ at time of presentation) Fellowship trained in Neonatology Clean Malpractice/Background History - Self-Query NPDB required
