Moines, IA Type: Full-Time | Status: Locum to Permanent Setting:
Inpatient & Outpatient (Clinic Hospital) Position Summary: A
well-established health system in Central Iowa is seeking a
Board-Certified Otolaryngologist (ENT) for a locum opportunity.
This full-time position offers a diverse clinical scope, including
both hospital and clinic responsibilities, and the chance to work
with a high-volume patient population across a growing regional
network. Schedule & Work Details: - FTE: 1.0 - Patient Contact
Hours: 36 per week - Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00
PM - Clinic Locations: Clive (outpatient), Des Moines (hospital) -
On-Call: Participation in the hospital call schedule is required -
Procedures/OR Time: Scheduled in coordination with the OR team when
time is available - Inpatient Responsibilities: Yes - Teaching

Full range of ENT procedures - Clinic Daily Volume: 30 patients -
Appointment Length: 15 minutes - Exam Rooms per Provider: 2–3 -
Physician-to-Nurse Ratio: 1:1 - Ancillary Staff Support: 1:1 - EMR:
Epic - Patient Population: Central Iowa, including Boone County,
Indianola, and Pleasant Hill On-Site Support Services (Building): -
Medical Imaging - Laboratory - Pharmacy (Note: services are located
in the building, not within the clinic itself.) Candidate
Requirements: - Board Certified in Otolaryngology – Required -
Active Iowa License or IMLC Compact License – Required - Full-Time
Availability – Required - Minimum of 2–3 Years of Experience –
Required Compensation Information: Please include your required
rates: - Hourly Rate (Clinic) - Night Call - 24-Hour Call - Call
