This position provides senior level leadership to a Corporate Properties team accountable for programs with cross-organizational impacts and high complexity. Specifically accountable to develop and execute a strategic plan to design and maintain a robust performance management platform, ensuring compliance with corporate requirements for Third Party Supplier risk, Business Process Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Identification program and other compliance-related programs. In this position, a successful candidate manages an internal team accountable to coordinate internal and external consultants or vendors including a team of supplier managers providing oversight for centrally managed services like janitorial, pest control, landscaping and other facility-related services. This position will work with Corporate Properties Business Intelligence team to establish key performance metrics and reporting to monitor and manage key vendor relationships and service delivery. This role is responsible to leverage the Business Process Management framework and work through Process Owners to facilitate and/or track self-assurance activities, issue management, corrective action tracking, etc. Accountable to act as key liaison with Control Executive team, Wells Fargo Audit Services and others. Partners with Corporate Properties Group leaders to respond to inquiry from compliance groups across the enterprise, requiring an extensive understanding of internal Corporate Properties Group strategies and objectives. This position will work directly to develop relationships across the enterprise to leverage tools, techniques and support services available. This position will work with CPG leaders and managers to prioritize initiatives, obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies, policies and priorities.

May also be viewed as an industry expert. Identifies and integrates external market factors that influence or drive business outcomes. Defines measurement standards and collaborates with business partners to achieve consistent agreement and application of definitions, measurements, and interpretation. Manages through other managers and/or senior consultants to accomplish objectives.

As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will:


  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks


    Required Qualifications

    • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
    • 5+ years of management experience

      Desired Qualifications

      • 3+ years of real estate experience

        Other Desired Qualifications


        • Knowledge and understanding of Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS)
        • 10+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 10+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 5+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
        • Knowledge across enterprise risk management framework, including: risk identification, risk appetite and strategy, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics and governance
        • Deep technical understanding of specific business operations, processes, products, and customer interactions and where they manifest risk
        • Strong interpersonal, influencing and communications skills with an ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and regulators, to include virtual, matrixed leadership experience and the ability to effectively manage and build relationships within the business and enterprise Risk function
        • Proven leadership and project management skills to drive alignment across stakeholder groups to develop and deliver repeatable end-to-end risk management solutions and controls aligned with business/customer processes
        • Deep understanding of risk framework, corporate/business policies, and programs to translate into plans for the business, function and/or risk type
        • Demonstrated leadership ability that embodies the Wells Fargo Vision & Values and leadership competencies
        • Ethical integrity and demonstrated ability to assess and determine when to raise concerns and escalate
        • Proven ability to build and lead high performing risk control organization in a matrixed environment, ensure proper staffing and expertise exists and can coach and enable others.
        • Strong analytical ability used to identify risks and confidently raise issues, escalate early and engage in constructive credible challenge and will do so independently when necessary
        • Proven ability to proactively manage and resolve conflict and effectively defend decisions with objective rationale
        • Ability to design and implement control analytics and reporting to drive effective decision making and results
        • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and analyze issues when data is collected from multiple sources and know how to ask the right questions to obtain the information needed to properly assess potential risks
