Job description BrightStar Care, the nation's leading home care and medical staffing franchise, is searching for a part-time, dynamic Nurse Manager, who has a can-do attitude and is able to prioritize and balance a multitude of requests within an office environment. This management professional will report to the Branch Manager in all functions of the BrightStar Care office and manage clinical operations including; care coordination, training of staff, administration of policies and procedures, management of personnel.We work with clients from all walks of life. The majority of our clients are the elderly/senior population. We provide home care to keep them in the place they call home for as long as it's healthy and safe to do so. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Nurse Manager will meet with potential clients and/or family members to assess their needs, present solutions, and highlight how we are the best solution for them. The Nurse Manager is responsible to hire, train, coach, and manage Nurses. They are responsible to ensure client needs are met with regular evaluation of employee performance and maintaining outstanding client relationships with all stakeholders.The Nurse Manager will assist in the development of organization goals and agency performance improvement activities. Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws. Assures compliance with all local, state and federal laws POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Active Registered Nurse license Experience managing multiple priorities and projects. Must have exceptional customer service skills and management experience. Front-line, public relations with excellent communication skills. Valid driver's license; valid state required proof of auto insurance.
