It all begins with you.About this role:Diverse Segments, Representation, and Inclusion (DSRI) focuses on expanding diversity at all levels of the company, intentionally deepening our commitment and connection to employees and diverse suppliers and developing products and services for customer segments that are critical to our business. DSRI is closely integrated with other enterprise functions and business lines via dotted line and dual reporting to advance DSRI strategic priorities and drive accountability, including Control Management, Supplier Diversity, and Diverse Customer Segments, Chief Operating Office, and Technology.As a member of the DSRI Chief Administrative Office (CAO), you will be part of a critical team responsible for providing centralized services for the DSRI executive and organization as well as partnering with enterprise functions and business lines to deliver efficient operational processes, policies, and services to enable effective execution and contribute to desired diversity, equity, and inclusion outcomes.Within the CAO, the Policy Manager (internally known as a Business Execution Director) will be responsible for developing and implementing DE&I policy standards that support the enterprise strategy and meet our regulatory obligations.In this role you will:

  • Identify and inventory all in-scope policies to the charter of the DSRI organization
  • Develop & implement DE&I policy standards that support enterprise strategic plans and adhere to regulatory obligations
  • Act as a representative of DSRI in cross-functional and enterprise meetings in the evaluation, alignment, and implementation of compliance or policy related initiatives
  • Manage and develop multiple business functional areas with focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for cross-functional stakeholders, and internal and external partners associated with the area of Business Execution or who are affected by its outcomes
  • Identify Business Execution opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development over the long-term in order to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency
  • Lead Business Execution team for assigned initiatives ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Interpret and develop a range of policies and procedures for long-range and fundamental retooling of perspective, approach, culture, quality, relationships, operations, and capabilities
  • Collaborate and influence functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies or policies and business line objectives
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategyRequired Qualifications
    • 8+ years of Project Management, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
    • 4+ years of management experienceDesired Qualifications:
      • Policy management experience
      • Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives enterprise-wide
      • Superior project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
      • Experience leading enterprise risk, compliance, governance or regulatory projects and initiatives
      • Experience leading Affirmative Action, Human Resources, Legal, or DE&I functional business areas
      • Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance program to assure compliance with federal, state, agency, legal and regulatory requirements or providing oversight to a compliance function
      • Experience writing procedural documents
      • Experience influencing decision making, partnering, and negotiating with senior compliance, risk, control, business leaders, and other stakeholders to gain commitment to accomplish business goalsJob Expectations:
