They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls.The PositionThe Investment Process Leader (who will report to the Head of Investment & Technology Enablement), will orchestrate financial activities within the company-wide investment process (business cases, forecasting, costing of actuals, internal billing and ongoing benefit tracking). This position will play a key role in enabling Wells Fargo to maximize the value of its business investments and facilitate greater accountability for the delivery of capabilities and benefits.The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Lead and orchestrate the company-wide, quarterly business case / prioritization process and associated ongoing financial planning, reporting and analysis activities
  • Define the framework, design the capture and facilitate the tracking of objectives and key results (OKRs) for the company to measure progress against investment objectives
  • Develop and industrialize the monthly process and output for the reporting and analysis of investment financials to various Finance, Technology and Business stakeholders
  • Innovate and implement a new post-implementation review process to understand (and report on) whether past investments actually achieve their desired outcomes
  • Contribute to technology development (e.g., user interfaces, workflows, dashboards) to facilitate and industrialize the end-to-end investment process
  • Partner with investment process leads across all line of business and enterprise functions to continuously improve data quality and usability for decision-making
  • Drive the development of process artifacts (policies, procedures, playbooks, presentations) and facilitate periodic training and development for process participants
  • Own the investment process calendar and ensure coordination with other company-wide processes and deliverables (e.g., FP&A, Strategy, Technology)
  • Provide ad-hoc financial, analytical and presentation support for variety of executive audiencesAs an Employee Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically, you will:

      • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting
      • 5+ years of management experienceDesired Qualifications
        • A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting
        • Demonstrated success and mastery managing in a matrixed environment
        • Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment
        • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
        • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communicationsOther Desired Qualifications
          • 10+ years of corporate finance experience
          • 10+ years of financial analysis experience
          • 8+ years of financial experience in creating strong business cases ('knows what 'good' looks like') - experience managing or supporting a company-wide investment prioritization process a plus
          • 5+ years of business process experience
          • 5+ years of experience as a senior manager in finance or a related field in a large financial services environment
          • 3+ years of experience developing mockups, presentations and use cases to illustrate system requirements
          • Critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration
          • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with extensive experience presenting to and working with senior executive-level leaders
          • A background in corporate finance heavy professions or roles such as investment banking, corporate development or corporate finance analytics
          • A demonstrated working knowledge of modern technology terms and trendsJob Expectations
