Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.This leader will oversee our State and Local Mortgage Assistance Programs within Customer Account Management. Wells Fargo Home Lending is participating in more than 150 local programs across the United States, with new programs being created each week. The $1.9 trillion American Rescue Act Plan recently passed provides COVID-19 relief with $10 billion in mortgage assistance for homeowners to be spent in the next four years. This newest plan will, in turn, lead to the expansion of these programs, and the creation of new assistance programs for homeowners. * Provides guidance regarding strategies, procedures and methods which directly impact the delivery of Mortgage Assistance Programs * Collaborates with key business partners to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives* Ensures successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations* Interacts with all levels of staff, mid-level management and external parties to influence, optimize, and negotiate* Partnering with Legal, Risk, Credit Policy, and other governance groups to ensure regulatory and corporate policy adherence* Partner with Servicing Data and Analytics and the Technology team to create reports.* Partnering across the organization to drive change management and initiatives* Working with the management team to identify issues, improve quality and efficiency* Evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and internal controls; analyzes business and/or systems changes to determine impact* Interface with other departments/managers to resolve problems, while adhering to and communicating company policy, procedures and practices* Engage in developing solutions and corrective action measure with issues identified with compliance testing.Preferred locations are San Antonio, TX; and West Des Moines, IA; however, other locations may be considered.Salary range is determined by the location of the job.The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.TX-San Antonio: Min: $88,200 Mid: $126,000 Max: $163,800IA-West Des Moines: Min: $88,200 Mid: $126,000 Max: $163,800May be considered for a discretionary bonusAs an Employee Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business.
