The Loan Administration Manager 3 - Fee Governance M&E, Home Equity & Trust Accounting has three (3) primary responsibilities. Leading the fee maintenance and enhancement strategy for Retail, supporting Home Equity Fee Initiatives, and leading all Trust Accounting activities including reconciliation, research, and analysis. Participates in the formulation of and adherence to work procedures, policies and methods to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo, legal, investor, regulatory, and/or business policies. For all three primary areas of responsibilities, these are accomplished through system enhancements, process/policy/procedure updates, and supporting work related to Corrective Actions and Remediations that arise.

Management Accountabilities:

Manage support team made up of loan document specialists and business support consultants, exempt and/or non-exempt, and accountable for ensuring complete and accurate research & analysis, drafting and presenting findings in a clear and concise way to leadership, and quality customer support to all internal/external partners.

Responsible for or participates in the hiring, coaching, developing and supervising of team members, including decisions relative to performance reviews, terminations, hires, discipline, salary actions, etc.

Responsible for own teams results (Ex. Corrective Actions, Remediations, Production Support, Internal/External inquiries, etc.)

This position requires a broad knowledge base to be present or grown quickly in a fast paced and ever changing environment. The primary responsibilities are broad in nature and have strong team members who current support the day to day activities within Fee Governance.

As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will:


  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.


    Required Qualifications


    • 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment
    • 3+ years of management experience


      Desired Qualifications


      • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
      • Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze financial metrics
      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
      • Experience developing and cultivating professional relationships
      • Leadership skills including; coaching, training, and mentoring
      • Knowledge and understanding of mortgage loan operations in a high volume environment
      • Change management experience


        Other Desired Qualifications


        • Demonstrated experience with post-close/finance/trust accounting activities
        • Demonstrated experience with mortgage loan processing and/or leading processing function
        • Mortgage sales and/or fulfillment experience


          Job Expectations


          • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
          • This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
