The Business Initiatives Manager (Military Talent Sourcing Team) is a strategic partner to the Wells Fargo Talent Acquisition Strategy and Delivery Team (TASD) and provides expert guidance on all aspects of the military and veteran hiring. Having proven connection to transitioning military through relationships with TAP or other on-base transition programs and/or veteran serving organizations, they will be committed to meeting our public challenge to employ 20,000 military team members. The right candidate will have previous military experience with the ability to translate military skills into corporate positions, and a passion for placing military talent in meaningful careers. This individual will report to directly to the Targeted Sourcing Leader and will manage a team of Sourcing Consultants responsible for proactively sourcing, assessing, and recruiting top military talent for Wells Fargo while bringing a passion for military talent to work every day. Key Responsibilities: Implement sustainable strategies to increase the pipeline of military talent candidates applying to Wells Fargo jobs. Manage metrics to track overall hiring strategy progress and recruiter effectiveness in cooperation with data sources. Partner with members of Wells Fargo National Partnership and Programs and Targeted Sourcing Teams on military early (Undergraduate/MBA hire) talent, lateral (experienced hire) talent, and transitioning military program initiatives and projects in order to grow the pipeline of qualified military talent applicants Lead the team supporting hiring events on military bases and national partnership events. Consult with internal TA Sourcing Consultants and Lines of Business (LOBs) TASD team members on event follow-up and sourcing strategies. Build a sourcing strategy to increase applicants through multiple channels, including cold calling. Lead Veteran hiring initiatives to support all LOBs including participating in projects when required. Ensure team is preparing veterans to apply to positions by reviewing resumes, assisting with application and interview process. Partner with Internal Military Talent Business Initiative Manager and other LOB recruiters to connect to enterprise Veterans strategy as well as share candidates across the enterprise functions. Recommend marketing and social media strategies to increase pipeline of qualified military talent, and be the SME in effective sourcing strategies. Deliver training and education for team members, especially TASD, to increase the awareness of the needs of the military diversity dimension. Ensures that the team complies with policy and regulatory requirements. Preference is for selected candidate to work within a specific Wells Fargo locations: Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Phoenix, AZ; Des Moines, IA; Dallas, TX; and San Antonio, TX. Other locations may be considered. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will: Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them. Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks. Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning 3+ years of leadership experience 3+ years of management experience Other Desired Qualifications Military experience at the senior NCO or O4 level or above.
