The team member will be responsible for leading a team of instructional designers designing and developing compelling and engaging learning strategies and solutions. These learning experiences may incorporate a range of learning methods, modalities and learning technologies to meet learning goals KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Managing the design, development and assessment of learning initiatives that meet business objectives and mitigate risk. Collaborating with managers and HR professionals to address development needs and/or business priorities. Allocating resources to effectively and appropriately staff design initiatives, and provide tactical support to prioritization efforts when demand exceeds available capacity to meet business objectives. Ensuring Learning & Development/Instructional Design and Development Services policies, standards, and strategies are followed during the development of learning materials and solutions. Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, decrease complexity, leverage economies of scale and skill and technology, to reduce overall learning expense and improve learning solution effectiveness. Leveraging performance metrics and measures to continually assess the effectiveness and value of programs and processes being used. Managing, coaching, and developing a geographically dispersed Instructional Design and Development staff to enhance performance, contributions, and internal customer focus. Specifically you will: Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them. Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
