Job Description Job Description Supply Management Specialist – Continuous Improvement Robert Half is partnering with an industry-leading agricultural and construction equipment manufacturer at their Ankeny facility to identify a Supply Management Specialist focused on continuous improvement, cost reduction, and supply base resiliency. This role plays a key part in driving long-term value through strategic sourcing initiatives, cross-functional collaboration, and supplier risk mitigation. Location: Ankeny, IA (Onsite) Schedule: Monday–Friday | Core hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (flexible start/end times) Duration: Currently approved for 2-year contract Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future for this position. Benefits available through Robert Half What You’ll Do - Develop and execute multi-year cost reduction and resiliency plans for assigned commodities - Lead cross-functional cost reduction initiatives, from idea generation through execution - Manage and coordinate cost, sourcing, and risk mitigation projects to strengthen supplier diversification and supply base resilience - Drive improvements in cost performance, sourcing strategy, and supplier capability - Utilize project management tools and the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process to ensure timely and cost-effective implementation of design, sourcing, and product changes What We’re Looking For - Experience in supply management, sourcing, or procurement within a manufacturing environment - Strong background in cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement - Ability to lead projects and influence stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams - Analytical mindset with a focus on cost, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency - Comfortable managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
