of our community! Pay Range: $28-$35/hour based on experience

to commute to work/home with work van Hours: Our HVAC Service
technicians arrive at our shop near Downtown Des Moines at 7:30AM,
and typically finish work around 4-5PM. We do provide overtime
services (nights, weekends, holidays) and all service technicians
may be called upon to work overtime calls. On-Call Service: We
currently rotate our HVAC Service Technicians for weekly on-call.
This means that during your week of on-call selection, the
technician has our phone number forwarded to their cell phone from
5PM-8AM for emergency repairs. *Technicians are never expected to
give estimates, schedule maintenance, or take sales calls outside
of business hours.* This is strictly for emergency services for
overtime charges for the customer. Skills/Requirements: Proven
experience as an HVAC Service Technician Strong technical skills
and knowledge of HVAC systems Understanding of advanced principles
of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating Excellent customer
service and communication skills Ability to work independently and
as part of a team Duties: Troubleshooting HVAC systems for
electrical and mechanical defects. Perform seasonal preventative
maintenance: Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and
performing warranty services. Communicate effectively with
customers to ensure their needs are met Maintaining a detailed
inventory of all HVAC equipment and resources. Ensuring compliance
with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety
Act Adhere to safety standards and company policies Maintain
accurate records of work performed Participate in all technical
training Complying with service standards, work instructions, and
customers’ requirements Ability to work after hours, over weekends,
and on public holidays with short notice. Ability to work in
confined spaces Other Qualifications: •Valid driver’s license, with
a clean driving record for insurance purposes •Vocational,
training, or apprenticeship of an HVAC program At this time, we are
only looking for applicants with HVAC service experience.
