It all begins with you.The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company---s risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo---s risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.The COO Control Management organization is creating a new function responsible for performing frontline testing to verify execution of Enterprise remediations (across all Business Groups/Enterprise Functions), as expected. The team will be organized by 4 distinct teams including Program Management, Strategy, Data Analytics and Transactional Verification. The newly formed comprehensive team will be accountable for assessing accuracy and completeness of remediations and evaluating the detailed execution of these efforts against documented plans and standards.The Customer Remediation Verification Team is looking for a Control Officer to lead reporting for the CRV team. --This role will lead the build out of the analytics and reporting solutions necessary to ensure appropriate portfolio coverage. --Successful candidates will have ability to distill complex concepts into simplified/targeted solutions, communicate those concepts effectively, and ensure that all deliverables are met. They will use analysis to identify business problems, and build compelling fact-based recommendations.--The candidate will:

  • Be responsible for supporting the CRV program including metric development and enhancement, monthly metric reporting production, monitoring boundary thresholds and escalations, trigger reporting, and commentary. --At least annually, reviews and proposes updates.
  • Be responsible for consulting with partners and developing, implementing, challenging and monitoring metrics designed to measure adherence to program procedures. --Provides subject-matter guidance.--
  • Monitor metric results and identify breaches of KRI/KPIs targets, completing root cause analysis on boundary breaches and facilitate action plan remediation as needed. --Escalates risk appetite breaches in a timely manner to appropriate leadership. --
  • Communicate and support visualizations to present complex, data driven analysis to management.
  • Be responsible for collaborating to document and assist with defining business requirements that translate business needs into designs and recommendations.--
  • Leads creation of new/updated procedures and guidelines; considered subject matter expert regarding interpretation.Please Note: Candidate(s) will be required to work at the following Wells Fargo locations: West Des Moines, IA; Minneapolis/Shoreview, MN; Phoenix/Chandler, AZ; or Dallas/Irving, TXPosition is currently remote; however, candidate(s) will be required to work on site when Wells Fargo returns to standard operating model.Please note: based on the volume of applications received, this job posting may be removed prior to the indicated close date.   • 7+ years of experience in risk management or 7+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 5+ years must include direct experience in risk managementDesired Qualifications

      • Experience in risk monitoring and reporting (including risk evaluation and assessment, issues management, or risk governance)
      • Ability to translate ambiguous ideas/issues into well-defined plans/solutions with a track record of delivering results
      • Strong knowledge and understanding of financial services industry: compliance, risk management, audit operations, products, and regulatory environment
      • Strong understanding of policies, procedures, and programs to ensure appropriate and effective risk mitigation controls are in place
      • Experience identifying and developing metrics to drive business decisionsJob Expectations
