It all begins with you.Enterprise Framework OfficeThe Enterprise Framework Office (EFO) is a new team, within the Strategic Execution and Operations Office (SEO) within the Chief Operating Office (COO), responsible for aligning the inventories, taxonomies and frameworks that identify and describe what we deliver (internal services and external products) to our customers, how we deliver it (processes), and how we control and oversee those activities (risks, controls, business issues, etc.). This is accomplished through the Enterprise Framework Model (Framework), which is working to integrate and rationalize existing, disparate frameworks into a standardized, companywide operational framework. The design and buildout of the Framework is being leveraged to support, accelerate, and drive elements of multiple high priority business and regulatory initiatives.The Framework, Methodology and Execution team within the EFO team will partner with other EFO verticals, businesses, risk leaders, and technology partners amongst others to accomplish the following objectives:

  • Developing and maintaining the Framework, which identifies:o Key enterprise-wide constructs (e.g., inventories, taxonomies, libraries)o The single source of record for each constructo The alignment between constructs in the modelo The operating model to maintain each construct in the model
    • Driving implementation and adherence to the Framework
    • Developing and maintaining the operating model to maintain integrity of the FrameworkThe RoleThis role reports to the Framework Methodology and Execution Lead and will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting implementation of the Enterprise Framework operating model, enabling long term success, sustainability, and maintenance of the Enterprise Framework Model. The operating model aligns and rationalizes existing roles and responsibilities related to each operational construct included in the Enterprise Framework Model and will support development of the go forward operating structure to maintain each linkage in the Enterprise Framework Model. The operating model must provide clarity and transparency into how each operational construct is maintained, who is responsible for each maintenance activity, and how each role engages with and works with complementary roles.The Framework, Methodology and Execution team is a need of a high performing, driven, and experienced strategy consultant. It is an exciting opportunity to become a founding member of a brand new team that will be critical to the future successes of Wells Fargo as it drives to execute its strategic objectives. This role will have exposure to executive leadership and relationship building skills at all levels will be a critical success factor. Leadership, integrity, capability and credibility will be key determining factors in candidate selection.The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of operational constructs and models (e.g., product, process, service, function, applications, third parties, personnel, facilities, risk, and others) and the existing operating models in place to maintain them. This includes, an understanding of (or ability to quickly learn and get up to speed on) the various roles for each operational construct, responsibilities of each role, maintenance processes (e.g., attestation or refresh cadences), objectives / mandates / requirements for each role, and how the existing roles overlap (or dont overlap) in the current state.This role requires strong problem solving skills, including the ability to develop practical and implementable solutions to complex issues leveraging a methodical, structured, and analytical approach. This role will also be required to engage and influence key stakeholders and leaders across the company to accept and drive implementation of the future state Enterprise Framework operating model. Therefore, this role requires exceptional communication and change management skills.Successful candidates will be clear, concise, and confident in their communications. They should be assertive and self-directed, with the ability to resolve issues through creative solutions drawn from previous experience or industry best practices. This role also requires strong powerpoint and visualization skills and the ability to take complex concepts, architecture, and component relationships and present them (visually) in an easy to understand and digestible format.Big 4 / Strategy Consulting experience is a plus. Requires significant attention to detail in the creation of executive presentations. Also requires comfort with ambiguity, especially as it relates to existing risk, governance, technology, and control operating models.Specific responsibilities include:
      • Analyzing existing operating models for each operational construct included in the Enterprise Framework Model, including:o Roles and responsibilities for each operational constructo Risk, regulatory, legal, and other requirements related to each operational constructo Maintenance processes, attestation / sign-off requirements, and the timing of these processes and requirements
        • Determining the scope and boundaries between each role for each operational construct included in the Enterprise Framework Model
        • Developing and implementing an overarching and integrated operating model to drive maintenance and integrity of all operational constructs and linkages included in the Enterprise Framework Model
        • Determining scope and boundaries between the Enterprise Framework Office and complementary programs
        • Determining organizationally where Enterprise Framework Office-related roles fit and align, based on existing organizational structures and operating models
        • Documenting responsibilities enforced by the Enterprise Framework Office for formalization
        • Partnering with operational component owners to enhance existing roles and responsibilities (included in policies and procedures)Role may require moderate domestic business travel.Telecommuting is being listed as an option for candidates in the designated posting locations. This is not a 100% remote opportunity and there will be expectations around being able to go into a designated office location from time to time.Required Qualifications:

            • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
            • Experience communicating in both written and verbal formats with senior executive-level leaders
            • Experience managing projects in a large enterprise environment
