About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics
Consultant in Internal Audit on the Audit Innovation Team. The
Audit Innovation Team supports the entire audit division and is
responsible for driving innovation across the department through
continuous assurance solutions, reporting/visualizations,
artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
The team is focused on transforming Internal Audit through these
primary solution types. This individual will be responsible for
working with audit teams to drive innovation in audit execution by
helping them identify innovation opportunities and by developing,
deploying & supporting data analysis solutions. In this role, you
will:
- Design and lead complex projects, analyses, and application of
data analysis techniques across the enterprise
- Develop data-driven analytics capabilities to identify
anomalies, outliers, emerging trends and operational risks
- Build continuous control assessments (CCAs), continuous
auditing tests (CATs), and automate solutions using SQL or SAS
- Design advanced data visualizations in Tableau or PowerBI to
support analytical and reporting needs
- Navigate within technology environments to locate, validate,
and format data for control testing
- Develop extract, transform and load (ETL) processes to ensure
analytical solutions are automated with complete and accurate
data
- Have strong relationship management, influencing,
organizational and execution skills; communicate effectively and
ensure that all deliverables are met
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure development priorities
are in alignment with audience needs, feedback is incorporated into
existing solutions, and requirements are documented for future
development
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on
implementing innovation solutions that align to the department's
objective
- Be an excellent project manager focusing on execution and
project milestones
- Be a critical thinker with an innovative mindset
- Train and mentor team members in the use of data analysis and
data analysis tools Required Qualifications, US:
- 7+ years of Analytics and Reporting, Financial Modeling,
Statistics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination
of the following: work experience, training, military experience,
education Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced Knowledge of SQL and SAS, with experience in
automation of reports.
- Knowledge and understanding of Text Mining or Text Analytics
software (SAS).
- Experience building data visualization and/or reporting
solutions through Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of audit or risk
methodologies and supporting tools.
- Experience conducting peer reviews of technical solutions and
quality review of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and
Technical Development Documents (TDDs) for Analytic Solutions
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
skills.
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability
to turn findings into strategic imperatives.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across
all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and
adaptability are important.
- Ability to develop operational reporting and perform complex
data analysis.
- Ability to lead projects/initiatives with high risk and
complexity. Job Expectations:

- Colorado: $ 96 800.00 USD Annual May be considered for a
