About this role:Enterprise Analytics and Data Science (EADS) is
seeking two experienced Product Management Senior Managers. One to
lead the Data and Analytics Services Product and the other to lead
the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Product within
Data Management & Insights. Join a new team with unyielding
curiosity in understanding customer problems and behaviors and
partnering to create solutions that delight in solving those
problems, deliver measurable value and are feasible to buy/build
and sustain. Each role will have a specific area of focus as
follows:
- Data and Analytics Services will enable the delivery of common
data and analytic services for reporting and general analytics
driving analytic consumption of enterprise data assets.
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning will enable the
development, training, serving, monitoring and management of AI and
ML models within the enterprise.The teams will leverage evolving
technologies to establish enterprise solutions for analytic and
model development as well as consumption, simplify the analytic
process and drive efficiency gains. This experienced product
management and analytics professional will lead the implementation
of a new function and evolution of a team. This leader will drive
engagement with key stakeholders and partner teams such as
Customers, Technology, Controls, Portfolio Delivery and Finance
inclusive of the planning and execution of partner forums such as
Steering Committee and Cabinet. Additionally, this leader will be
in charge of user acceptance testing and executing Pilots and
Proofs of Concept.This role has a high level of exposure to
analytics leadership across the Company as well as to partner
organizations within and outside of DMI. There is a significant
opportunity to transform analytics and AI/ML, influence the future
of analytics at Wells Fargo and gain exposure to some of the most
innovative areas of analytics, technology and data management in
the industry today.In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop teams of managers and individual
contributors for leading product strategy
- Consult, develop, market, and manage performance analysis for
products that have high impact on companywide growth opportunities
and success
- Identify and recommend opportunities for product enhancements
and business requirements
- Determine appropriate strategy and actions of product
management team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
- Interpret and develop pricing policies and distribution
strategies, which may include global considerations
- Collaborate and consult with product managers, analysts and
multiple level managers
- Interact directly with vendors
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Product
Management
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet
business objectives and strategy
- Establish and execute a product management function putting the
customer at the center and delivering an analytic ecosystem that
solves significant customer problems emphasizing user viability,
business viability and technical viability.
- Define the product vision, strategy and roadmap along with
management of execution through continuous planning.
- Drive engagement with key stakeholders to successfully deliver
on the product vision and roadmap while effectively mitigating
risks via a data driven approach. This includes establishing the
appropriate routines, processes, reporting and communications to
actively seek customer and partner input, establish feedback loops
and keep stakeholders engaged and well informed.
- Manage and evolve the User Acceptance Testing function to
engage end-users as well as cover the full spectrum of the analytic
development lifecycle for Analytics and Artificial Intelligence and
Machine Learning respectively.
- Lead Focus Groups, Pilots and Proof of Concepts in partnership
with the Product Design teams continuously improving the process to
meet stakeholder and leadership demands along with pacing to the
evolving analytic tool landscape.
- Partner closely with Product Design and Services Teams along
with the broader EADS teams to provide a seamless engagement
experience for the analytic community.
- Build relationships and oversee key stakeholder relationships
with the Analytic Community, DMI, Control Partners, GPD and
Finance.
- Manage and build a team with product management and analytic
experience focused on driving employee engagement and
developmentRequired Qualifications, US:
- 6+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic
planning, process management, change delivery, or equivalent
demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work
experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of Management experienceDesired Qualifications:
- Ability to develop and integrate data driven and analytical
decision making for product and service operational activities
- Strong analytical skills with ability to draw conclusions and
translate findings
- 3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
- Knowledge of widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories,
ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing,
Automated Testing, Agile Games
- Experience with Agile methodology of project delivery
- Knowledge and understanding of project management
methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects
- Ability to identify business needs and deliver solutions in
close partnership with line of business and technology
- Ability to analyze quantitative or qualitative data
- Ability to motivate and provide performance feedback to
staff
