Job PurposeManages the operations functions system changes by coordinating them with other areas within and outside of the bank; resolves complex operations problems. Reviews processes for effectiveness assuring quality provision of products and/or services; recommends and implements efficiency and productivity improvements while not compromising service quality. Ensures compliance with established internal guidelines and external regulations. Provides leadership to the Operations side of the bank, which maintains high team member morale and high levels of motivation. Key member of operations management and business continuity team.
Essential FunctionsCore Responsibilities

  • Provides advanced operational knowledge to support bank staff.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements financial institution operating system admin changes to achieve system utilization that support the bank's long-term strategic objectives and vision. Analyzes operational problems and develops procedures for their resolution.
  • Leads in the implementation of system changes to support new products; ensures system integrity and recommends program changes to more efficiently and effectively support services offered.
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on assigned operational systems, providing administration and escalation support as needed.
  • Provides the operations team with project management support as needed.
  • Acts as a liaison between the operations department and Bank Iowa team members to understand business processes, troubleshoot functionality issues, and discuss product and support enhancements for banking solutions.
  • Maintains up to date expertise in the operations systems and processes to fully support Bank Iowa team members.
  • May provide training and guidance to team members to better support their use of the operation systems.
  • May manage EOY process and reporting as needed.
  • May review or audit operations systems user access and network changes.
  • Builds constructive and effective relationships to support a collaborative working environment.
  • Promotes and enhances the bank culture and fosters the development and implementation of organizational vision, policies, and guidelines
  • Participates in the development of staff training to effectively implement financial institution policies and procedures throughout all regions. General Responsibilities
    • Performs other bank related duties as assigned by leader.
    • Attends committee meetings as needed.
    • Understands and complies with banking regulations by following bank policies and procedures. Stays abreast of relevant regulations, current industry matters, and any changes implemented internally to ensure compliance.

      Requirements:
      Required Education & Experience
      • Bachelor's degree preferred.
      • Ten years' experience in a bank operations environment.Additional Qualifications Include
