About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Financial
Reporting Analyst...In this role, you will:
- Support the end-to-end deconstruction and documentation of
manual submissions for automating data delivery onto Financial and
Regulatory Reports
- Review data mapping documentation and opine as to the
appropriateness of use in the production of automated regulatory
reports
- Utilize expertise as subject matter professional with a
thorough understanding of reporting requirements, end to end
reporting processes, and data needed to deliver accurate and
complete financial reporting
- Drive preparations for connecting the centralized data
warehouse to the Axiom application and execute on the holistic data
testing approach across multiple environments
- Lead implementation of complex projects and initiatives
impacting one or more lines of business
- Provide accounting, technical, regulatory capital, and
regulatory reporting guidance
- Meet company's regulatory, Security and Exchange Commission,
and other external financial reporting requirements
- Identify compliance and risk management requirements for
supported area and may support implementation of key risk
initiatives
- Promote and facilitate stakeholder development by maintaining
ongoing interactions that increases their awareness, understanding,
accountability, and engagement in the reporting process
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to
resolve issues and achieve goals
- Communicate and provide consultation with experienced
stakeholders throughout the enterprise
- Act as a liaison for regulatory reporting issues with both
internal and external audit staffs, as well as, banking and broker
dealer regulatorsRequired Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Finance, Accounting, Financial or Regulatory
Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a
combination of the following: work experience, training, military
experience, educationDesired Qualifications:
- Experience successfully operating in a complex and matrixed
environment
- CPA certification
- Management consulting experience at a top-tier consulting
firm
- Knowledge and understanding of Axiom software
- Product knowledge in some or all of the following areas (loans
& leases, deposits, derivatives, securities, equity, capital
etc.)
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and financial
reporting: Federal Reserve, OCC, SEC, etc.
- Knowledge and understanding of corporate governance, financial
reporting systems, legal entities, and role of regulatory
authorities
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and
accuracy
- Experience with Agile methodology of project delivery We Value
