Position Summary:

business? - -Look no further! Our Client Accounting Advisory
Service (CAAS) team does just that. - The CAAS team provides
clients with accounting, financial statement preparation and
advisory services, technology solution deployment, accounts payable
and accounts receivable service, reconciliations (e.g. Bank, Credit
Card, and sales tax filing and management). -Apply today to join
the team as a Client Accounting Associate to help service our
clients. - -Client Accounting Associates are employees who are
interested in pursuing a career in professional bookkeeping
services. - During this time, Client Accounting Associates need to
focus on developing their accounting and technical skills,
understanding and executing diligent client service, and getting
oriented to the Firm's practices, policies, and culture.
Tasks:
Proactively demonstrates a willingness to learn and attain greater
knowledge on a continual basis; looks to build technical skill
baseGrasps concepts quickly and demonstrates knowledge of basic
technical skills, as well as related knowledge of necessary systems
and proceduresMakes well-thought-out decisions and considers all
facts; with the best interest of the client in mindAsks appropriate
questions and requests supervision when in need of
assistanceFollows regulations and professional ethics of the AICPA
and the state societyDemonstrates ability to work independently on
engagements with the assistance of senior staff:Performing
bookkeeping/accounting services for clientAssist with completing
month-end work (reconciliation of bank accounts, post cash receipts
and cash disbursements, accounts payable, accounts receivable,
calculate and record monthly accruals, record journal entries,
assist with financial statements, assist with reviewing G/L detail
to be sure sufficient information is provided for preparation of
year-end returns)Assists in preparing quarterly and annual payroll
tax returns, W-2's, 1099'sAssists in calculating monthly sales tax
liability and preparing and filing returnsPayroll processing
servicesDevelops proficiency in use of all technology necessary for
performance executionMaintains designated chargeable hours for the
year (determined by Geography & Discipline leaders) -Ensures
quality control procedures are being executed under direction of
senior staffMaintains positive client relationships -Responds
timely and accurately to internal team and client requestsDevelops
efficient work habits to support the organizationAbility to work
within budgetary parametersAppropriately communicates difficult
situations encountered on engagements to senior staffPerform
thorough self-review of all work prior to submission to senior
staff
Skills:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong time

Experience and Education:
Education:Accounting experience requiredBachelor's Degree a
plusExperience: -Prior and current bookkeeping/accounting
experience in public accounting, corporate or private
businessThorough understanding of basic accounting
principalsProficient knowledge of accounting software, Excel, Word,
and PowerPointExperience with Sage Intacct, Bill.com, QuickBooks
Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, NetSuite, are a plus
